AV-1280 LCD Controller Board

The AV-1280 was a Digital View LCD controller board. This page is retained so that anyone maintaining an installed system can identify the board and reach its documentation.

  • Panel compatibility: Compatible with 1280 x 1024 & 1024 x 768 TFT LCD’s from manufacturers such as Sharp, NEC, Toshiba, IBM, Samsung, Hitachi, LG, Fujitsu, Philips/Hosiden, Mitsubishi, etc. (subject to correct BIOS version being installed).
  • No. of colors: On 24 bits panel (3 x 8-bit): 16.7M colours On 18 bits panel (3 x 6-bit): 256k colors
  • Input auto-synchronization: NTSC, PAL & SECAM Factory default is PAL B, G, H, I and NTSC M Optional compatibility
  • Signal input termination: 10k or 75 ohm, jumper or OSD select
  • Standard video input: Composite and S-video RS-170 compatible
