Display Security - three display safeguards available using Digital View LCD controller boards to help secure what is on the screen.

Modern installations can’t afford screen takeovers or accidental content leaks. That’s why Digital View controllers support the following protection layers, which can be implemented separately or together to keep your display and the information on it safe.

    1. Source Device pairing
The media source (media player, PC, signage box) is assigned as an authorized source; if it’s unplugged and another source device is inserted, the controller disables its inputs until pairing is restored.
Benefit: Prevents walk-up tampering and protects brand reputation in public venues.
    2. Software pairing
The software only operates when it detects the matching Digital View controller credentials.
Benefit: Helps ensure your licensed or proprietary application doesn't play on untrusted gear, preventing revenue leakage and IP theft.
    3. Image Masking
A remote command or predefined local event (enclosure door opening, vibration, watchdog alert, etc.) can force the controller to override whatever video is coming in and switch to a stored splash or blank screen.
Benefit: instantly shields information on the display, helping you meet privacy mandates and avoid embarrassing on-screen images.

These features would be a custom integration into our latest LCD controller lineup models. They let you deploy displays in public, industrial, or mission-critical environments with increased confidence, knowing the screen shows what you intend, when you intend it.
