Conflict Minerals Policy
Digital View recognizes the concerns relating to certain minerals defined as conflict minerals under the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (USA 2010). These are mined in the region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) under conditions of conflict and human rights abuses, they comprise the following:
• Columbite-tantalite (Coltan) refined into tantalum
• Cassiterite refined into tin
• Wolframite refined into tungsten
It is Digital View policy not to purchase components, sub-assemblies or supplies that we know contain conflict minerals.
