DIGITAL VIEW ADDS ADVANCED VIDEO SCALER TO EXPANDING PRO-AV PRODUCT RANGE
Morgan Hill, CA, July 15th 2009 -- Digital View, the digital display and digital signage hardware manufacturer, is again combining its two specialist product areas in the latest addition to its expanding range of products for the pro-A/V market. The new AVX-1920 builds upon the company's renowned display engineering skills to offer a professional grade video scaling device that delivers full picture-in-picture support and high definition video processing, alongside an advanced network interface for CEDIA device control.
Designed for the pro-A/V and digital signage markets, the AVX-1920 allows users to combine multiple inputs from a range of HDMI, DVI-D, ARGB, Component Video & Composite sources - and convert them for optimum picture quality and resolution on any given display, projector or video wall.
Processing 10-BIT (1 billion colors) upto 1080P - the core AVX-1920 offers professional grade color management with advanced 3D noise reduction, 3:2 pull-down and a range of de-interlacing modes and phase clock adjustments for enhanced fine-tuning.
The integrated Digital View Pro-Control™ Suite of image processing features then overlays 10 years worth of high end engineering know-how into a host of superior image manipulation and processing capabilities.
Users can display multiple inputs simultaneously with picture-in-picture, picture-by-picture and picture-over-picture support. Users can zoom into an image, or to pre-set image portions across multiple displays. The image can be frozen - to allow users to pause the media for security or continuity inspection. On-Screen Markers or Text Overlays can be added, for overscan, AFD or other mixed messaging requirements.
The functionality can all be controlled remotely - through Infra-Red, RS-232 or via an on-board IP network interface - with both direct browser and DCHP PC utility support.
"The AVX-1920 is all about providing the glue between multiple devices, old or new," comments Neil Wood, Product Director at Digital View Inc, "giving almost any A/V environment access to the very latest display control features."
