Segmented Touch Screens

Segmented touch screens have 8 pre-assigned touch buttons organized as
3 columns of 3, 3 and 2.

Analog Touch Screen Controller

The Analog Touch Screen controller supports 4 and 8 wire resistive touch screens from companies such as EloTouch and Dynapro (3M). The intelligent controller can be factory programmed to divide the touch screen in any format of touch buttons including irregular layouts. If the number of active touch points is 8 or less, then it can be supported by the M3-100, if the number of touch points is 16 or less this can be supported by the M3-200.

For applications requiring larger numbers of touch points, the touch controller may be programmed to use the serial port interface of the M3-200. Optional beeper touch acknowledgement.

CCD Bar Code Reader

CCD Bar code reader with integrated serial port and vacuum-formed plastic cover.
Connects to serial port of the M3-200.

The Cipher 1400 bar code reader may be reprogrammed to recognize or ignore specific bar code sequences using the Scan Manager Utility. Note: the bar code reader must be configured for 2400 baud, even parity, 8 bit to communicate with the M3-200 controller.

Light Sensor Controller

Self-contained plastic box product with 6 light input sensors on 2' leads. When exposed to light the each sensor creates a specific event trigger. Sensors can be unplugged to create configurations for 1 ~ 6 sensors. 2.5mm power connector accepts standard +12V supply. 9 pin DIN output cable connects directly to CN5 on M3 controller.

Motion Detector

Small footprint PIR motion detector detects people and creates a specific event trigger (default is button 5)

Intelligent Motion Detector

Switching powers supply. Agency certified for UL CSA CE

Power Supplies

Switching powers supply. Agency certified for UL CSA CE etc.

Audio

Dual speaker kit to use the built-in 2 watt per channel stereo amplifier.

Volume control consisting of a 4.7 K ohm potentiometer on a 300mm lead that plugs into VR1 to provide manual adjustment of speaker volume.
Note: Volume may also be controlled via content on button functions.

Infra Red Remote Control Kit

Infra red sensor and proprietary infrared controller allow control of all player functions remotely
