Design
For a lot of people a digital network is a plasma screen hanging off the wall or ceiling. At Digital View we believe that this type of broadcast solution only delivers a small part of the opportunity and can often end up a white elephant in the eyes of the consumer.
Products need to not only fit well into their environment using good design, but clever use of different display sizes from 6.4" to 80", in the right places can ensure far greater levels of impact.
If close to 70% of purchase decisions are made at the point of sale, then 1-2-1 messaging using personal small size displays next to the product is likely to drive significant results.

Installation
Even with the most robust and competitive products, a poor installation can be the start of a vicious circle of endless expensive field visits and needless wear and tear on the product.
Choosing and training the right partner, with the appropriate skills for the particular network be it wi-fi integration or a high-end store fitting is key to the long term smooth running of a network project.
Digital View has a selection of partners offering good national coverage and a range of skills and is also ready to take on the training of any customer in-house team.
The Digital View support help desk is also on hand during installation to ensure that all systems are fully operational before sign off.

Telecommunications
Connecting a display network to a remote server requires telecommunications. Be it fixed line (ADSL), wireless (GPRS or WLAN) or satellite each variant requires different considerations, different payment models and different partner relationships.
The Digital View equipment is compatible with most telecommunications options and has pre-agreed rates and competitive packages, specifically designed for the non-standard requirements of a digital display network, with a range of different telecom partners.
Working in conjunction with the Digital View helpdesk during installation, can ensure that the project management of hardware and telecoms installation is achieved as efficiently as possible.

Content Management
Once the network is up and running, the emphasis shifts onto getting the right content delivered to the right screens on the right hours or the right days.
The Digital View Remote Transfer system provides a scheduling interface to enable this control and to allow customers to control the individual content on each of their displays.
Digital View will either undertake to train its clients to manage this system directly or can provide in-house engineers to support this service, which when working together with the support teams can provide a simple one-stop-solution to total content management and support.

Content Creation
Creating the right messages, for the specific location and delivering them at the exact time is a very specific skill. Replaying television advertising or throwing web content at a digital network is often not appropriate. Out-of-home advertising and in-store digital signage networks condense product, time and location in a unique way that demands a unique approach to developing media content.
A digital network does not necessarily need a whole new campaign, but existing content and campaign assets will more than likely need to be adapted, re-purposed and formatted to retain their impact in this environment.
Whether animating poster or print campaigns, creating interactive programs or adding logos and subtitles, Digital View has different partners who bring the understanding of consumer and brand dynamics of our market place to the creative process.

Accountability & Data Analysis
Knowing who is looking at what content is a key part of understanding the impact of the network. The Digital View systems offer a range of different levels of accountability as standard within the base remote networking system reporting real time on system activity, display run time and video file plays statistics.
Further data can also be collected through the use of local interactive devices, such as motion and proximity sensors, touch screens, bar code readers and buttons. Each customer view, or interact, can be measured to build a profile of each user session against the specific content shown.
This real time data loop can provide critical data for brands on the effectiveness of the content and the relevance of particular images to particular customers at different times during a day or at different points within a store. For an advertising network, this accountability is proving value to advertising clients.

Maintenance & Support
No matter how reliable a system, day-to-day wear and tear needs to be managed to ensure that the systems remain up and playing its content constantly.
Digital View provides an in-house support helpdesk, proactively chasing down any systems in the field which fail to connect and report back to the central servers. The helpdesk's role is to make sure that every remote resolution option (local power supply, telecoms, disconnection etc..) has been covered prior to an engineer being dispatched.
Digital View further works with nationwide maintenance partners to offer cost effective maintenance agreements and quick turnaround field engineers to swap units and get systems up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Financing
Digital View has worked closely with a number of leasing companies and finance houses to build different payment packages for customers looking to spread their initial upfront infrastructure investment over a period of years.
This type of financing can be key to unlocking projects for brands, where marketing budgets from different financial periods can be utilized, or advertising networks, when cash flows are predicted to build over time.
