LONDON, ENGLAND - Camelot is the operator of the British National Lottery with the objective to maximize revenue for the Good Causes and the Government through lottery games in the most efficient and socially responsible way. To meet this objective in 1992 Digital View was awarded the contract to provide a digital media network operating in their top outlets across Britain. These displays are mounted on the top of one of the product fixtures and have to be highly effective in meeting both Camelot's objectives and also having a positive effect on the retailers where they are located.

The locations, being primarily popular retail stores, are all high traffic so reliability and security have been key elements of the network. Meeting the particular demands of the network are key strengths of Digital View RemoteTransfer web based content and network management system and solid state digital media players.

Now in its 4th year of operation, and demonstrating the flexibility of the system, the communications are being upgraded without any other major system changes in order to complement other aspects of Camelot's telecommunications infrastructure.
